Sree Narayana Mission Melbourne, a registered not for profit organization has been serving the community for the last 6 years. From a modest start, the organization has grown to be one of the institutions of high reputation through the hard work of the Committee, registered members and also the good will and generosity of the community.

Within the constraints of resources the organization has always tried to live up to the expectations of its stake holders and has been spreading the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru,a great saint and social reformer who taught “One caste, One religion and One God” for humanity.

Birth and Childhood

Narayana Guru was born in the year 1854 AD at Chempazhanthy, in the suburb of the city of Trivandrum, the present capital of Kerala State, India. In those days Trivandrum was the capital of a princely state called Travancore.

Sree Narayana Mission Melbourne was formed on an auspicious Vijayadasami day in October 2011 by Sri Krishna Kumar and Sri ArunSasidharan with the aim to propagate Guru’s philosophy and teachings..
